About the Author

Sarala Kunhambu graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1976 as a Science graduate (B.Sc). She majored in Chemistry and also did Physiology and Genetics in her final year. After completing her Diploma in Education at the same university, she joined the teaching profession as a Biology teacher in February 1977. After serving for more than 31 years in the field of teaching, she retired in November 2008.

As a very busy single mother, she has never been able to write continuously. Some of the poems in this book, were written by the author in her early twenties and thirties. It has always been her life-long desire to see her book of poems in print. So here it is, at last ! Happy reading!
